Eligibility Requirments for Arena use & Fee

Students including Reserch Students
Faculty Members
Alumni and Former Faculty Members of the University of Tokyo¹
Persons stipulated in the regulations set by the Gotenshita Memorial Arena

1. Alumni and former faculty of the University must be a member of the Athletic Association "Undo-Kai". To be a member of Undo-Kai, some form of proof identifying you as a University alumni or former faculty member is required, and supporting member fee (\3,000) is also necessary (varid for 1 year).

* Visiting researcher can use the Arena(Application by the host researcher is necessary) at the same fee for Faculty Members.
* a Guests who do not belong to the University of Tokyo can also use the Arena, so long as they are accompanied by a person who belong to the university of Tokyo. (Children yonger than junior high school age are not permitted to use the Arena)

Other Fees

Orientation program for the use of training room including registry fee and wristband: \500(student), \1,000(faculty).
Orientation program for free-weight including registry fee and wristband: \1,500(student, faculty).
Visitors who have not yet taken the orientation program must pay \500 to use Training Room.

To reserve exclusive-use of gymnasium, additional fee is necessary dependent on the area.

No fee is neccessary to rent Basket ball, Volley ball, Shuttlecock, Soccer Ball, Ping-pong Ball, Table Tennins Paddle, Shoes for Climbing Wall. No additional fee is also necessary to attend fitness classes, instructional lecture for climbing wall and bouldering wall.
